Title: Managing Physical Records in Microsoft 365?

Speaker: Sing Chan, VP of Product

Time: Session W2D on Wednesday April 21 at 10:30 am

Full Description: Physical Records are still a critical component for many organizations and requirement proper management. Microsoft365 has recently expanded their information governance offerings: but does using M365 alone cover all your organization's physical records management and compliance needs? Join our session where our VP of Product, Sing Chan, will discuss physical records management requirements, pain points, and the features that M365 offers. He’ll also show how using the right solution can address common challenges for streamlined, end-to-end records management.

Title: Accelerated Discovery (FOI/FOIA/ATIP) Request Processing Using Collabspace

Speaker: Graham Sibley, CEO

Time: Session T2D on Tuesday April 20 at 10:30 am

Full Description: One of the foundations of achieving transparency in government is the ability to provide timely and comprehensive access to information, typically know as "freedom of information (FOI)". Most government institutions have struggled to implement solutions that enable information to be easily located, compiled, reviewed, and distributed in response to a FOI request by other institutions or the public. Collabspace can decrease FOI response times from hundreds of person-hours to minutes. In this session we'll review the capabilities of Collabspace as they relate to cross-system enterprise information archiving, enterprise search and discovery, and enterprise records management. We'll review implementation strategies to ensure all organizational information is visible, discoverable, and managed, including use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning to enrich information discovery. We'll wrap up by exploring real-world case studies that highlight the cost and effort reduction of employing Collabspace to respond to freedom of information requests.

Title: Achieving Enterprise Records Management Compliance Without Sacrificing User Experience

Speaker: Graham Sibley, CEO

Time: Session WE5B on Wednesday April 21 at 1:30 pm

Full Description: Despite all the advancement in records management knowledge and technology over the past couple decades, organizations still struggle to achieve enterprise-wide adoption of their records management initiatives. Current efforts still focus on having users actively involved in records categorization and preservation processes, which history has shown does not work. In order to truly succeed with records management programs, organizations need to focus on achieving a frictionless, transparent user experience that automates records related activities. In this session we'll review the history of approaches that has led us to our present state and will explore options for implementing transparent records management programs. We'll take a look at the various technologies that can be leveraged, outline how they can be deployed to achieve success, and will dive into future directions.
